Traditional Crafts on the Square
A tradition that brings together artisans and producers of authentic products from Istria and the wider region
Visitors will be introduced to exhibitors showcasing products from various family farms (OPGs), home crafts, associations, and other trades. In addition to numerous exhibitors from Istria, some will also come from other parts of Croatia. Around sixty exhibitors will be present along the promenade of the Rovinj waterfront and in the pedestrian zone of Rovinj’s town center, covering streets and squares such as Trg na Mostu, Obala A. Rismonda, Ulica Pietra Ive, and locations on Trg Pignaton.
The exhibitors, who will be presenting their goods to the citizens of Rovinj and their guests, will offer a variety of products—from traditional food items to other useful, handcrafted goods. "Handmade" will be the common theme for most of the products. Among the items for sale will be leather goods, ceramics, and blacksmith work, as well as other artisan pieces crafted by skilled hands working with stone, wicker and willow, wire, wool, olive wood, and other materials, creating valuable products and objects. There will also be lavender products, natural soaps, fruit-based beverages, a wide selection of medicinal teas, and many other items.
